04 Dec Thebe Tourism Group cleans up at the Thebe Group Excellence Awards in Johannesburg
Shepstone Gardens in Johannesburg made for the perfect venue for this year’s Thebe Excellence Awards. In its 11th year, the awards celebrate its employees across the group. Thebe Group Excellence Awards is Thebe’s way of creating a culture of excellence within the Group. This years theme was revival and renewal, strongly focusing on Excellence which was displayed throughout the numerous changes Thebe has undergone.
Reference to a pruned was used throughout the awards. “The tree symbolises regrowth, strong roots and experience with a great opportunity for new shoots to do better. A tree of strength representing Thebe’s legacy and family values of building communities.”
Now moving on to the awards! Thebe Tourism Group won Best Thebe Company and the Transformation Award, a great team achievement. Individually, Marketing Project Specialist for Thebe Tourism Group Fatima Anter won the Leadership Award for Non-Managers.
