16 Aug Interns required at Thebe Tourism Group
Thebe Tourism Group is a 100%-owned subsidiary of Thebe Investment Corporation. Formed in 2001, the group is the oldest black-empowered South African tourism group and has a significant portfolio in tourism and related industries ranging from tourism attractions (like Cape Point), inbound and outbound tourism, group travel and car rental.
Thebe Tourism Group aims to offer innovative, integrated, market-driven products; the group of companies are focussed on making tourism accessible to all and ensuring responsible tourism is practiced throughout all businesses.
Thebe Tourism Group is looking for three graduates to be hosted as an intern in the Marketing Department for a period of 12 months. Two will be based in Century City at the Thebe Office and one will be based at Cape Point. Passionate and talented individuals who are currently unemployed and would like to gain experience in tourism/marketing are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:
- ND Diploma/Degree/B-tech (recently graduated) in Tourism Management.
Availability of candidate:
- immediately or starting 1 September 2017
Notes on these roles:
- Daily transport to Cape Point from certain surrounding areas (such as Fish Hoek, Masiphumelele, Ocean View) can be arranged for the successful candidate
- We are looking for can-do-hands-on individuals with a positive attitude who are willing to learn and grow a career in tourism, marketing or events.
