22 Jun Club Travel triumphs at the World Travel Awards!
We’ve done it again! This past Saturday Club Travel was named both South Africa and Africa’s Leading Travel Agency at the 22nd annual World Travel Awards. Club Travel has been honoured with the prestigious title of ‘Africa’s Leading Travel Agency’ for 9 consecutive years, since being voted the first time in 2007.
This prestigious gala ceremony took place at the Kempiniski Seychelles Resort Baie Lazare. The ‘Oscars of the travel industry’ is recognised globally and was established to acknowledge, reward & celebrate excellence access all sectors of the travel and tourism industry. The winners are determined by an online voting process from both professionals in the industry worldwide, as well as the general public.
The event was hosted by the glamorous former Miss Seychelles, Sherlyn Furneau, and local Seychelles’ personality, Galen Bresson. The evening’s entertainment was provided by The National Cultural Dance Troupe of Seychelles and the Breeze Band, both of whom took the audience on a journey during the evening showcasing the history and culture for which the island is famous.
The Club Travel Corporate division was nominated in ‘South Africa’s Leading Travel Management Company’, ‘Africa’s Leading Business Travel Agency’ and ‘Africa’s Leading Travel Management Company’ categories.
